David Nicholas

David is President and Founder of Nicholas Wealth Management, a full service investment and financial planning firm in Atlanta, Georgia. David created Nicholas Wealth Management with the goal of creating a firm that addressed the weaknesses in the services provided by traditional investment management firms: namely, risk and loss of principal, inferior investment performance, inflexible and inactive portfolio advising and insufficient client service.

David is a former co-host of the Ty J. Young radio show on Bloomberg Financial Network Atlanta. During his tenure as a radio host, he interviewed many titans of business and politics including Steve Forbes, U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson, former presidential candidates Michele Bachmann and Newt Gingrich, and former Attorney General to Ronald Reagan, Ed Meese.

He was recently awarded the “Power 30 under 30” award and his opinions and commentaries are regularly highlighted in the national media. Media appearances include Fox Business with Neil Cavuto, GBTV with Glenn Beck, AOL’s Daily Finance and TheBlaze.com.

David is on the board of directors of the ADDO Institute: A student leadership organization for next generation leaders. He also assists with the strategic marketing and social media for the organization.

David loves to give back to the local community and gives frequent talks on leadership, government, and public policy at schools in the Atlanta area.

What challenge is your company addressing?

Main challenge is hiring qualified employees and diversifying marketing initiatives to increase market share.

Why are you an entrepreneur?

The reason I am an entrepreneur is because I want to help individuals and institutions be as successful as they can be when it comes to their finances. If I can provide value to my clients, there will always be a market for my firm’s expertise. I also want to show the next generation that with hard work, drive, determination, and the good Lord smiling on their endeavors, they can truly be successful and help impact lives for good.

What is your best piece of advice to entrepreneurs?

Don't give up. Whatever you do, find a way to be the best at it and never ever give up.
