For the past decade, Rod has served as a journalist and advocate on behalf of entrepreneurs. And recently, he became one himself.

Today, he works with a variety of organizations as a media consultant, to help foster an ongoing conversation about entrepreneurship. He is a regular commentator on TV and radio, including CNN, MSNBC, and the Today show, and a guest lecturer in entrepreneurship at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to that, he was the Executive Editor of HuffPost Small Business, which he launched in 2011, and has also served as Executive Editor of AOL Small Business, Senior Editor at Inc., and the Small Business Editor at BusinessWeek.com.

As a longtime resident, Rod contends that New York is the greatest small-business city on Earth.
